Poker in Alaska

No licensed poker rooms in Alaska (as of October 2026)

Status

Alaska has no commercial casinos and no state lottery. Its tribal gaming halls, in Metlakatla, Klawock and Eklutna near Anchorage, plus Two Coppers Casino near Juneau (opened in 2026), offer bingo, pull-tabs and electronic gaming machines, not live poker rooms. Charitable gaming in Alaska centers on pull-tabs, bingo and raffles.

For most Alaskans, live poker means a flight. The Seattle area's card rooms and tribal casinos are the closest, and Las Vegas is the classic poker trip.
